Welcome to The Tomas Studio at Dottiewood Studios, a striking content studio!
This is a sumptuous and lush space to capture extraordinary images and videos. A special studio full of angles to capture unique content This is a natural light studio best captured in afternoon shoots.
This room is perfect for lifestyle, content, product, and small editorial shoots and recordings.
In order to keep the studio fresh, each Content Room will be changed every 4-6 months. If you know you want to shoot in The Tomas Studio, book it before it’s gone.
The Tomas Studio is $65 (+ tax) per hour.

Sound + Film: Suitable for filming, not sound-proofed

Natural light studio; black-out blinds are available for light control.

Light: East-facing windows. Natural light can be controlled through blackout blinds.
Sound: Our building is far spaced from other buildings and is therefore very quiet. Studio 1 is open and, while isn’t soundproofed, is suitable for recording. If you have any concerns, please contact us to discuss exclusive hire [link to Exclusive hire page]
Space Access: No Ramp is required; all rooms are on the ground floor and easily accessible. There are two entry points - a front business entrance and a side entrance with a separate driveway. For larger equipment, you can access a loading bay at the back of the property and wheel equipment with a cart. We have space for large trucks in the back parking lot.
TOMAS Studio has access to the dressing room, subject to availability.
TOMAS and all adjoining rooms are areas in a larger multi-space studio; other rooms on the property are not usable unless booked as part of the booking. You can book the whole studio if you wish to have exclusive hire.
Cleaning notes: We take cleaning and your health very seriously. With an Infectious Diseases Doctor and Covid Specialist as one of our Founders, we keep our Covid protocols to the highest standard. The studio should be left exactly as found.

Our diverse spaces range from the small and accessible for compact productions to the large and expansive for grander projects. We’ve taken a former office building and turned it into a stunning space.
With easy access just north of East Austin, we have ample secure parking. We’re kitted out with special features, including a photo-ready functional kitchen, a dedicated dressing room, a green room, a gorgeous 30-foot Cyclorama wall and a stunning arched hallway (please see additional rooms for further details).
If additional looks and props are required, we have an in-house Props department- Dot’s Props. For larger projects, we have on-hand designers and a construction team that can take on custom projects.
Housed in a former office block, the Studio is beautifully discrete with maximum privacy.
We have security cameras on site, but not in any of the bookable rooms.
