We do our best to keep everything as simple as possible for you with one straightforward fee. The only exception to this is an additional cleaning fee for all events ending at midnight and later and for all 24-hour and multi-day events.

If breakages or damage occur, we reserve the right to charge our standard breakage and damage fees.

• For additional hours booked 24-hours ahead of event = $200 p/h

• For additional hours booked within 24-hours of your booking = $225 p/h

• For additional hours booked after the event has commenced = $250 p/h

Please note that any additional hours not approved with Dottiewood will be considered as Late Hours. After a 15-minute grace period, Late Hours are chargeable as $275 p/h (hours are chargeable in 30-minute blocks).

Alcohol can be served at a private function as long as it’s not for sale.

All events with alcohol must have a bartender with an up to date TABC.

We have a small amount of foldable table and chairs for you to use with your booking.

In addition, we have lifestyle and kitchen decor as part of our Dot’s Props.

We have a sound system that is connected via wireless systems.

Pre-booking

• Come take a tour and and we’ll answer all your questions. You can take videos and photos + we’ll walk you through room by room and help you understand how to make the most of your event.

• If you’re not sure of how many hours to book, we’ll help you based on information from previous bookings.

Place your booking:

• As soon as your deposit is paid, we’ll get you finalised in the calendar.

• You’ll receive an email with additional information and helpful hints.

Before your event:

• Complete a short and sweet questionnaire so that we have all the info and can ensure the studio is maximised for your needs.

• Let us know if you need to make any adjustments to your hours.

• Use your complimentary 30-min logistics tour with the Dottiewood Team.

On the day:

• One of the Dottiewood Studio team will be there to welcome you. Please do not arrive more than 5-minutes before your booking as you will not be able to access the space.

• We’ll show you the AC/heating, trash, and all other important details including how to close out the studio (the space must be left as found).

• If you’re bringing in a DJ or additional system, please ensure you’ve notified the team and that the relevant people are there to meet the Dottiewood team for any logistical set-up conversations.

Please note that the Dottiewood Team is not on site for the duration of the event. We’ll be present for the first 30-minutes to ensure you’re all set up, so ensure that all relevant people are present for the start time welcome.

Booking Policies:

• Bookings require a 50% deposit to secure.

• Balance of payment due 7-days before the booking.

• All bookings come with a complimentary 30-minute logistics tour. All additional time prior to the booking will be charged at $100 p/h (chargeable in 30-minute blocks).

• After booking, please complete the Dottiewood Studios Event Form so that we can best serve you and ensure the studio is set-up as you desire.

Refund Policies:

All bookings cancelled,

• 30-days ahead of the booking are 100% refundable.

• Between 30 - 7 days ahead of the booking are 50% refundable.

• Within 7-days of the booking are 0% refundable.

Seasonal Pricing can impact New Years Eve, SXSW, and ACL.

Seasonal Pricing is $250 - $300 p/h.
